Santa Rosa is the county seat of Sonoma County and its largest city, with a population of approximately 155,000. The city was recently named one of the nation’s “most livable communities” by Partners for Livable Communities.
Just 50 miles north of the Golden Gate, Santa Rosa is the prime location for business along the 101 corridor north to the Oregon border. Employment in Sonoma County has remained steady over the last few years. Job growth, taxable sales, new housing, and housing prices, continue to increase throughout the county. The estimated county population is nearly a half million.

Santa Rosa Southside is in a prime location on the retail corridor along Highway 101 that runs north from Petaluma. This major market includes, in addition to the City of Santa Rosa, the growing cities of Petaluma, Rohnert Park and Windsor. The trade area for Santa Rosa Southside extends east to Napa County and north as far as Ukiah and Fort Bragg.
The center was developed by Metrovation in 1984 and continues to be updated with new stores, storefronts, and landscaping. In addition to a strong performing Party America, Santa Rosa Southside contains the only Toys R Us, REI, and Cost Plus World Market stores north of Marin County on the Highway 101 corridor.
