Red Bank is a prime example of Metrovation's commitment to enhancing downtown environments. During the development of The Grove at Shrewsbury, we got to know Red Bank – just one mile away. At that time, Red Bank was struggling with many vacancies, but we saw great potential for transformation. We began acquiring properties on Red Bank's main thoroughfare, Broad Street. Since our first acquisition, we have purchased and renovated four cornerstone properties. Three Metrovation properties won Downtown New Jersey Excellence Awards.

Red Bank is riding the crest of a stunning rebirth, drawing attention from national publications for its friendly, fun and eclectic community. The Smithsonian magazine describes Red Bank as a New Jersey river town that has "transformed itself into one of the hippest enclaves on the East Coast."

Metrovation continues to be a prime factor in the transformation. Our east coast partner, Chris Cole, has served as president of RiverCenter, the business improvement district formed by Red Bank merchants. Red Bank and Metrovation's lifestyle center, the Grove at Shrewsbury have developed a close relationship, which includes cross marketing.

21 East Front Street | Red Bank, NJ

Metrovation's current Red Bank projects include 21 East Front Sreet, a seven-story office building built in the early 1960s. While completely renovating this office tower, we restored the 1893 building located on the street in front and incorporated it into the project, along with a new three-story building which complements the scale of downtown Red Bank's streetscape.

The entrance to the tower is through a dramatic two-story atrium. There are galvanized and stainless steel structural features visible throughout the interiors of 21 East Front and on the exterior of the tower. Extensive balconies with views of the Navesink River overlook downtown Red Bank.
